Kuddles and Scales Rescue specializes in the care, education, rescue and rehabilitation of “exotic/pocket” pets who can no longer be cared for and/or need medical attention. They specialize in animals such as rodents, reptiles, birds, ferrets rabbits, amphibians, invertebrates, and much more! They do not take in dogs, cats, or farm animals at this time. Kuddles and Scales runs mainly through foster homes and is in the process of becoming licensed as a nonprofit organization. They operate in the Bonney Lake, Washington area (with some fosters still located in Portland Oregon).

“I adopted a snake in the summer of 2017 and am in the adoption process for an iguana as of summer 2018. Going through the home, all animals are well taken care of. Everyone is friendly and healthy. Anyone who takes in animals from all walks of life and takes the time to do everything they can for the animals like K&S does deserves a ton of respect. I highly recommend this (unofficial) rescue for anyone looking to adopt a family member.”

“I adopted Andy (bunny) and am absolutely in love! The facility (home) was clean and didn’t smell like it normally would in a facility with different animals. You could tell Andy was well taken care of. He seems very healthy and seems very comfortable around humans. I would highly recommend adopting from them!
